Fine Print

  • Thank you for supporting this small, community-based program. Clear guidelines help keep classes sustainable and accessible for everyone.

    Drop-In Classes

    • All drop-in purchases are final.

    • If you can’t make class, your payment is appreciated and helps keep the doors open.

    • No refunds, transfers, or credits.

    Punch Cards / Class Passes

    • All pass sales are final.

    • Passes are non-transferable and may not be shared.

    • Passes have set expiration windows:

5-Class Pass: valid 8 weeks from first use

10-Class Pass: valid 16 weeks from first use

    • Unused classes do not roll over beyond the expiration.

    • These expiration dates help balance the rhythm of teaching and attendance.

    Workshops, Series & Courses

    • Registrations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated and not automatically transferable.

    • In some cases, we may be able to fill your spot. If so, we will offer a refund minus 20% of total registration fee.

    • Planning, space rental, and preparation occur well in advance; thank you for understanding.

    No Show Policy

If you register and do not attend, payment is forfeited.

    Cancellations by Adam

If a class or event is cancelled unexpectedly by Adam, you will receive:

    • a refund, or

    • a full credit toward a future offering

    • No additional reimbursement is offered.

Illness, Injury & Life Happens Clause

    • Life can be unpredictable, we get it.
    • However, these policies remain in place.
    • If you know ahead of time that you will miss a multi-day offering, please reach out — sometimes waitlists or swaps may be possible.

  • Arriving & Preparing

    • Please arrive bathed and wearing clean clothes; particularly for Mysore classes.

    • Bring a clean mat and mat towel;  practice can be sweaty.

    • Bring a clean personal hand towel each day.

    • Avoid strong perfumes and scented products; many folks are sensitive.

    • Doors close at the start of pranayama/meditation if that is being offered: please arrive at least 5 minutes early.

    • Enter quietly and take a moment to settle.

    • Depart quietly without disrupting others.

    In the Practice Room

    • Honor silence: conversations belong outside the studio.

    • Phones off or silenced and stored away.

    • No photos without permission.

    • Hydrate before class; avoid eating a large meal for 2–3 hours prior.

    • Sweating, wobbling, learning, and not knowing are all welcome.

    Assists & Adjustments

    • We use consent cards:

      • One side: hands-on support welcome

      • Other side: no hands-on contact today

    • Consent is ongoing: you may change your card, your mind, or your boundaries at any time.

    • Hands-on support is offered as information, not correction; an invitation to explore, never a requirement.

    • All postures are optional. Your agency is essential.

    How to Work

    • Move at the pace of your breath, not the pace of your neighbor.

    • Pain is a signal to stop; challenge can be productive, strain is not.

    • Respect fatigue: rest is part of the practice, not a failure of it.

    • Modify, pause, or skip anything at any time.

    Attitude & Culture

    • Come with more curiosity than ambition.

    • Progress is built through steadiness, consistency, and patience.

    • There are many approaches to yoga and Ashtanga; what is offered here is one perspective among many — take what serves you, leave what doesn’t.

    • Be kind; to yourself and others.

    Participation + Personal Responsibility

By attending classes, workshops, or events you are agreeing to the following understandings:

    • You participate at your own pace and within your personal capacity.

    • You are responsible for listening to your body, modifying or stopping when needed, and asking questions when uncertain.

    • Yoga, breathwork, and embodied practices may influence you physically, emotionally, and mentally; you’ll honor your own boundaries.

    • You acknowledge that this is not clinical mental health treatment or physical therapy, and the teacher is not a licensed mental health or medical professional.

    • You agree to respect your fellow practitioners’ boundaries, privacy, and experience.

    Community Agreements

    This space is held with:

    • Choice: you decide what participation looks like for you.

    • Respect: or personal history, ability, comfort, and process.

    • Consent: no touch or support without clear, ongoing permission.

    • Confidentiality: stories stay in the room unless explicitly shared otherwise.

    • Humility: we’re all learning. description
